Cornerstone Church was started in March 1983. The church is currently in it's third generation of leadership. Initially the church was led by Leon and Pat van Daele and then by Jim and Margaret Lamont.
Both of these couples have since moved on to full-time apostolic work. Leon and Pat serve in Australasia and are based in Adelaide. Jim and Margaret serve in the Americas and are based in Los Angeles.
Marcus and Adele Herbert now lead Cornerstone Church.
We remain an apostolic church in relationship with New Covenant Ministries International.
We are an Elder lead church, and we do not regard NCMI as our headquarters or a denomination. We rely on the apostolic authority and the friendships we have forged with those who serve in the NCMI apostolic team.
