WHAT
Life Team is an opportunity to serve God in a base church full time for
one year. The year will include serving in life of the church, training in
ministry and the word of God. Being equipped and growing into your
calling in God.

WHEN
Starting 17th January 2011                                              
Ending 4th December 2011
(Mid Year Break: first two weeks of July)                                    
Most Monday’s will be a day of rest

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
- Practical serving at Cornerstone Church
- One on One Mentoring with the Pastors and church leaders
- Local ministry trips within South Africa
- Possibility of International Ministry Trip
Being involved in various aspects of ministry with in Cornerstone              
Connecting with and serving in other local churches in South Africa
- To be trained and equipped in various aspects of ministry (e.g.. Worship, Music and Arts, Children's Ministry,Training in Preaching, Teaching etc.)

WHO
Ages 18-25 (we will be marginally flexible on either side of the age recommendation)

COST
The cost for the year would be R1400 per month.
Where possible, applicants from Overseas will need to cover the costs of their travel to and from South Africa.
Applicants who join the Life Team will be hosted by families from Cornerstone for the duration of their stay in South Africa.
In laying out the costs for the year, we realise there are financial implications to a year such as this, however we do not want the financial cost be a factor that limits anyone joining the Life Team. We are happy to discuss the financial implications of being part of the team with each applicant if necessary.
Those that are part of the legacy team will be working and serving at Cornerstone on a full time basis, and due to these demands they will not be able to do part time work as well.

A FINAL NOTE
It is important to note that the Life Team is not a rehabilitation program, but is for those in a local church who have a call of God upon their lives and would benefit from a year in a church outside their local context. The program will run for the above mentioned dates, after which all those part of the Life Team will return to the local churches from which they were sent. All Life Team applicants will need to be approved by their local eldership/pastoral teams.
