From the M1 Highway
Take the Smit St offramp, turn east onto Smit St towards the city centre. Follow Smit St under the beginning of Nelson Mandela Bridge. Shortly after the bridge the road splits into two one-way roads. Immediatley after this split is the intersection of Smit and Melle St. Turn left into Melle. Two blocks up Melle is the intersection of Melle and de Korte St. Turn left into de Korte. No. 81 is on the right-hand side of the road, 2 buildings from the corner of Melle and de Korte. Look for a building covered in green mosaic with banners saying "Restaurant", "Narina Trogon" and "The Canopy". The Uptown sign will be on the pavement outside the entrance.

From Ellis Park
Follow Bertrams Rd past Ellis Park. Bertrams Rd becomes Charlton Terrace as it passes Ellis Park on the north side of the stadium and then becomes Saratoga Ave as it passes Ponte Tower. Follow Saratoga passed the UJ Doornfontein Campus. At the intersection of Saratoga and Nugget, the road becomes a one way (watch out for the BRT bus lanes, keep either to the extreme left or the extreme right-hand lane). Follow Wolmarans past Joubert Park and the new Gautrain Train Station (road works in progress). Get into the right-hand lanes on Wolmarans. Shortly after the intersection of Wolmarans and Biccard, the road bends abruptly to the right and then splits into two. Take the right hand split. This split becomes Melle St. Two blocks up Melle is the intersection of Melle and de Korte St. Turn left into de Korte. No. 81 is on the right-hand side of the road, 2 buildings from the corner of Melle and de Korte. From Parktown/Rosebank
From Jan Smuts Ave - follow Jan Smuts south towards the CBD. Continue along Jan Smauts through the intersection with Empire Rd and passed WITs on the right. As Jan Smuts gets to the top of the hill, it changes to Bertha St. At the intersection of Bertha and Jorissen st, turn left into Jorissen (a one-way). Get into the right-hand lanes. Follow Jorissen until you reach the intersection of Jorissen and Biccard St. Turn right into Biccard st and then at the very next intersection turn right again into de Korte st. One block down de Korte is the intersection of de Korte and Melle St. No. 81 de Korte is on the right-hand side of the road, 2 buildings from the corner of Melle and de Korte. Look for a building covered in green mosaic with banners saying "Restaurant", "Narina Trogon" and "The Canopy". The Uptown sign will be on the pavement outside the entrance.
