History:
New Covenant Ministries International has been working with Churches in Lesotho for many years, with our first annual Leadership Training Time being in 2004. We have built strong friendships with many leaders and churches in many parts of the country, and over the boarder into parts of SeSotho speaking South Africa.
Strategy:
Leadership Training:
Our trips include a 4 day LTT in Maseru once a year & a weekend Geographical Training Time in each area twice a year. At the GTT’s we gather the churches in the area together for Leadership training and then send teams to minister into these churches on the Sunday. This creates many opportunities for those attending the GTT’s to minister even if not ministering at the GTT.
Church Visits:
Local church visits take place mostly over a weekend. These are opportunities for teams from one or more relating church, led by and elder, to spend the whole weekend with a Basotho church serving in any way they need. This includes training, outreach, building, community work, fellowship & encouragement.
Outreach:
There are regular opportunities for crusade type out reaches, street and door to door evangelism and even pony back trips into the mountains to minister to the more remote villages.

There are also other trips added to this as local churches invite us in, often based around a particular theme eg children's camps, outreaches etc. It you would like to initiate something like this, let us know.
Opportunity:
This is a great opportunity for you to involve your church in discipling the nations! Lesotho is so accessible to most areas in South Africa & trips are relatively inexpensive, often accommodation is provided by the local churches themselves & weekend ministry means that church members need take very little leave to be able to go on a ministry trip into the nations. Lesotho is a great way to introduce your people to the apostolic, and a heart for those beyond themselves.
